S razvitkom i ubrzanim rastom popularnosti video igara, javljaju se želja i potreba da se one prilagode svim potencijalnim korisnicima gdje god se oni nalazili, tj. javlja se potreba za njihovom lokalizacijom. Kako bi se zadovoljile potrebe svih igrača potrebno je korištenje usluga lokalizacije kako bi se video igre prilagodile ciljnim tržištima. U ovom radu opisuje se lokalizacija i njene karakteristike općenito iz perspektive video igara te se navode potencijalni načini lokalizacije kao i problemi i pitanja u procesu lokalizacije; što treba prevesti, zašto i na koji način.
